Closed Hooters to be demolished for national burger concept | OBJ

April 14, 2026

A closed Hooters location in Kissimmee is headed for demolition, with new plans calling for a two-tenant retail redevelopment anchored by an unnamed national burger concept. Marketing materials from Retail Property Advisors LLC show the site will be redeveloped into a two-tenant building, including a 3,200-square-foot national burger concept with a 400-square-foot patio and a 4,000-square-foot space available for lease. The project has an estimated delivery date of the second quarter of 2027.

Osceola County continues to see retail development interest, including plans to add tenants at Osceola Corporate Center.

“St. Cloud in particular is where the growth is happening,” Clyde Wells, executive vice president of Maury L. Carter & Associates Inc., a real estate investment firm specializing in land and commercial real estate across Florida, previously said. “Kissimmee is more mature, [as that area] already has a lot of neighborhoods and existing homes. What we’re seeing in St. Cloud is new developments because of the availability of raw land, and that seems to be where the national builders have really focused on.”
