Maury L. Carter & Associates News

  • Daryl Carter, president of Maury L. Carter & Associates, recently acquired a high-profile property on West Kaley Street in Orlando. The Orlando Business Journal featured the deal in a recent article. The 48,095-square-foot warehouse sits near Orange Avenue and Orlando Health’s main campus. It’s directly across from a major mixed-use redevelopment led by downtown developer Craig Ustler. Carter called the area “core real estate” due to its location and long-term potential. In the short term, Carter plans to renovate the existing warehouse and lease it to a commercial tenant. In the long term, the site could be part of a larger redevelopment project, although no specific plans are in place yet. Carter has strong ties to the area and sees value in its continued growth. The property previously belonged to the OnePulse Foundation, which returned it to Orange County after canceling plans for a museum. Sale proceeds will go back into the county’s tourist development tax fund. This acquisition reinforces Maury L. Carter & Associates’ commitment to investing in strategic, high-growth locations across Central Florida. • Seminole County is taking steps to acquire Hi-Oaks Ranch, a nearly 700-acre property listed by Maury L. Carter & Associates, as part of its Seminole Forever land conservation program. This significant tract of rural land near Chuluota was recommended by the county’s Acquisition and Restoration Committee for preservation due to its environmental value and development pressure in the area. A final decision on the purchase is expected in June. Read the full article here: https://mynews13.com/fl/orlando/news/2025/04/15/seminole-rural-land-buys     - April 16, 2025

The benefits of continued job growth along the Space Coast are beginning to trickle down to Palm Bay, where a building boom over the next several years is poised to transform south Brevard County.
Conrad Carter of Maury L. Carter Associates told OBJ the improved infrastructure has made Florida “a landing spot” in recent years for national and international investors looking to build or move into existing spaces. “When new roadways pop up, new areas get unlocked. Just look at the 429 Beltway circling and curving around Orlando or the I-75 corridor and the growth that has followed it.”
